Vijay Eswaran is a businessman who has also authored books about becoming a business leader, and certain characteristics that make a leader. One of his principles has been to spend time in silence and learn to listen and watch.
Vijay Eswaran believes strong morals and good spiritual practice is essential to guiding the workplace, but the man he’s found inspiration from in that area is Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhi also preached the importance of listening before speaking, and Eswaran believes that promoting peace and good will towards others in business is better than simply doing anything you can to get ahead.
